Described today by the Daily Mail as “the REALLY important political issue of the day” (don’t assume that’s ironic – there’s little evidence of irony the article by Mail Online reporter Ollie Gillman), rarely has the humble kitchen appeared so often in the news headlines and the political sketch columns as it has in the last couple of weeks.
